Topuria has dominated the featherweight category over the last year, especially after his victory in February against Australian Alexander Volkanovski and his successful title defense against American Max Holloway in October.
After Dana White confirmed that Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes will fight for the vacant title on April 12 at UFC 314 in Miami, Topuria took to social media to remind everyone that, until then, he remains the king of the division.

The image shows Topuria dressed as a king, seated on a throne surrounded by roses (one of his signature symbols), with the featherweight belt draped over his shoulder and the flags of Spain and Georgia on either side. Alongside the illustration, Topuria captioned it with: “Not like us,” a statement reinforcing the legacy he leaves behind in a division where he remained undefeated, before taking on a new challenge at lightweight... with Islam Makhachev looming on the horizon.
