Travelers Championship 2024 Round 4 Sunday tee times and pairings
On the final day at the TPC River Highlands, Tom Kim will guard his 18 under par lead, with Akshay Bhatia and Scottie Scheffler closely following with 17 under.
Before we delve into the performance of the current leaders in the tabletop golf tournament and discuss their play in Round 3 of the final Signature Event of the 2024 PGA TOUR regular season, let’s take a moment to recognize American golfer Cameron Young.
He achieved an impressive feat by shooting 13 under 60, marking the 13th under 60 round in PGA’s history. Young will be entering the final round at T10, sharing his position with Patrick Cantlay, both at 13 under par.
Tom Kim, the 22-year-old sensation, leads the tournament at 18 under par, one stroke ahead. Kim has been in command since the start, leading after each round. His second straight five-under 65 today showcased his consistency and poise. Kim’s first bogey came after 40 holes, a tough three-putt on the 10th. Yet, he quickly recovered, making birdies on the fifth, sixth, eighth, and 11th holes, demonstrating his resilience and skill. His methodical approach and high-quality iron shots have been impressive.
Kim ranks fourth in driving accuracy, second in greens in regulation, and second in strokes gained tee-to-green and on approach. Though he lost strokes putting today, his overall performance has been strong. The friendly rivalry with fellow birthday celebrant Scottie Scheffler, who shares a birthday and practice rounds in Dallas, adds an exciting dynamic to tomorrow’s play.
Behind him, trailing by just one stroke and tied for second place, are Akshay Bhatia and the world’s number one player, Scottie Scheffler. The tournament features a field of 70 players competing for a total purse of $20 million, and the winner will soon be determined.
