Tsarukyan takes another shot at Topuria: “I’ll knock him out with my elbows in the first round”
The Armenian fighter has again targeted the Spanish-Georgian champion, eyeing him for a potential first title defense.

Arman Tsarukyan has renewed his challenge to Ilia Topuria, calling for a matchup in what would be “El Matador’s” first defense of the lightweight belt since defeating Charles Oliveira in June to claim the championship.
Tsarukyan: “I’ll knock him out with my elbows”
Speaking to TMZ, Tsarukyan spelled out exactly how he sees the fight playing out — and didn’t hold back. “I just go out there, take him down, and knock him out with my elbows. All of it in the first round,” the Armenian declared.
Currently ranked No. 3 in the lightweight division behind Topuria and Islam Makhachev, Tsarukyan is among the most vocal contenders pushing for a fight with the new champion, alongside Britain’s Paddy Pimblett.

Tsarukyan slams Pimblett
And Tsarukyan had some choice words for Pimblett as well, firing back after recent criticism from the Liverpool fighter. “You’re nobody — a piece of trash, maybe. Daddy Dana fed you a couple of old men so you could get famous, but that’s all you are: famous. I’ve earned everything in my career; nobody’s handed me anything. Now sit your ass down and wait for Daddy to tell you what to do."
