Alexandre Pantoja retained the UFC Flyweight Championship at UFC 310 on Saturday, beating Japanese newcomer Kai Asakura in the night’s main event.
Pantoja successfully defended his title for a third time, defeating Asakura by technical submission in round 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“I feel amazing, what a job,” Pantoja said after his UFC 310 victory, which followed Flyweight Championship wins over Brandon Moreno in July 2023, Brandon Royval in December 2023 and Steve Erceg in May.
“I love fighting for UFC. UFC deserved a show like that. You think the Japanese guy is going to come in here and take my belt? No fucking way!”
