The new Barcelona forward is very motivated to help the team from now on, while fans hope the Brazilian will be an important player for Xavi.

Barcelona are facing quite a few issues on the pitch and in their offices. Xavi Hernandez’s men are sitting fourth in the LaLiga standings and leaders Real Madrid have a seven-point advantage, while the club is still facing a precarious financial situation, which keeps limiting the Catalan giants when it comes to signing new players.

However, Barça fans know that the season is long enough to try to change the situation and fight for all the titles. Els Blaugranes are not the favorites to win the Champions League and LaLiga due to their poor performances of late, but Joan Laporta’s bet for the offensive line is now a reality.

Vitor Roque is finally in Barcelona, and the Brazilian is regarded as a good addition to Barça’s roster despite being only 18 years old.

The young phenom signed for the club earlier this year, but Atletico Paranaense and the economic restrictions delayed his arrival to the Catalan capital.

Vitor Roque, happy to be in Barcelona

Tigrinho is one of the most promising young players in world football and his arrival to the club is seen by fans as a breath of fresh air given the current circumstances at Barcelona.

After landing in Catalonia, Roque wanted to share his happiness and joy of starting a new chapter as a professional player at Barça.

“Thank you very much, I am very happy with everything that has happened in my life. It’s a dream come true now”, he said.

“I will try to learn as much as possible with the group. They always want to have the ball all the time, I will try to learn as much as possible with the group, and score goals too”, Roque added.

The talented forward also revealed that signing for the current LaLiga champions is a dream come true and admitted he will do whatever is on his hands to help the team reverse the situation:

“It was always a dream since childhood, not only for me but for my family as well. To be here now for the first time is like a dream. I hope for lots of victories, to win as much as possible, and I will try to help the club as much as I can”.

Tigrinho will join his new teammates after the Christmas break. If everything goes as planned, Roque will be available for Xavi to feature in the first game of 2024, against Las Palmas on Thursday, January 4.
