As the first fighter to ever hold two titles concurrently in the UFC, Connor McGregor is almost guaranteed to earn a spot in the UFC Hall of Fame.

But the Irish superstar and former UFC dual-weight champion who is known to have a loud personality wouldn’t wait for his induction in silence. Following this past weekend’s Hall of Fame ceremony, McGregor took to Twitter sharing his excitement about the day he gets celebrated.

“Looking forward to my own hall of fame entry all the same,” McGregor wrote. “I’m a shoe in. First of everything. All the records. KO speed. Knockdown amount. KO’s most divisions. Financials. You name it.

“No rush though. I’m still in to bust noses open and put opponents unconscious. A real goer.”

McGregor mocks Nurmagomedov

This wasn’t the only post the 33-year-old has made however. McGregor mocked his Russian rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was honored as one of the latest inductees at the UFC Hall of Fame. The Dublin-native posted a picture of Nurmagomedov as he was making his speech with a photoshopped picture of himself carrying Irish Whiskey:

It seems McGregor isn’t over what happened between the two of them.

Nurmagomedov, known as ‘The Eagle’, squared off against McGregor in his biggest career fight at UFC 229 and controlled most of the fight.

The Dsgestani went 29-0 in his undefeated fighting career and is considered the greatest lightweight fighter of all time, besides the greatest UFC fighter in history.

McGregor has been out of action since losing to Dustin Poirier last July due to a broken leg. He is, however, aiming for a return sooner than later this year.
