Gauf -Swiatek record

The upcoming match between Iga Swiatek and Cori Gauff will mark their 12th meeting. Swiatek holds a dominant 10-1 lead in their head-to-head matchups, including a 4-0 lead on clay courts. In their recent match in Rome, Gauff put up an intense fight but still suffered a five-game loss. In a three-set match, Gauff defeated Swiatek on a hardcourt at Cincinnati last year.

This victory helped her clinch her first title and paved the way to win her first Grand Slam at the U.S. Open. Gauff has struggled in matches against Swiatek, especially in slower conditions, where the difference in their playing abilities becomes more pronounced.

Despite Gauff’s impressive performance, Swiatek has triumphed in their previous three encounters. Even though Swiatek defeated Gauff in the 2022 final and quarter-finals last year, she remains vigilant of Gauffs qualities and focused on the upcoming match.
