What is Jake Paul’s net worth?
Ahead of Paul’s latest boxing bout, against former UFC star Nate Diaz, we take a look at the fortune that the internet personality has amassed.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is in line to receive a sizeable cheque for this weekend’s fight with Nate Diaz - a payday that will only increase his already substantial net worth.
At just 26, Paul has already amassed a fortune estimated to be around $60 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. With annual income of around $38 million, Forbes magazine ranked him at number 10 on last year’s list of the world’s top-earning creators, and as the 46th highest-paid athlete.
Boxer nets large fight purses
With seven professional fights under his belt so far, Paul’s foray into boxing is proving increasingly money-spinning. Indeed, he has revealed that he was paid around $30 million for his February fight with Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia - despite suffering a split-decision defeat to the Briton.
Among other multi-million-dollar boxing fees, Paul is estimated to have pocketed around $5 million from his previous fight, a unanimous-decision win over Brazil’s Anderson Silva in September 2022.
He has also ventured into boxing promotion, and was behind the lightweight title mega-fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor in April 2022 - a bout that was named Fight of the Year by Sports Illustrated. After losing to Taylor by a split decision, Serrano is now due to go up against Heather Hardy as part of the Paul vs Diaz fight card on Saturday.
Hugely successful YouTube channel
Boxing is just one of the income streams boasted by a man who has shown that he has a considerable talent for making money.
Paul started to earn serious money when he was very young. He began his career in videos in 2013, and was hired by the Disney Channel. After being fired by the company after two seasons, he began to focus on his YouTube channel, which has since amassed 20.4 million subscribers.
Paul has also set up his own marketing company called Team 10, and has several lucrative endorsement contracts.
