When and where is the Floyd Mayweather vs Mike Zambidis fight? ‘The Battle of the Legends’

According to Sky Sports, legendary American boxer Floyd Mayweather is stepping back into the ring this summer for an exhibition bout against Greek fighter Mike Zambidis — a well‑known name in kickboxing and martial arts.

The event has been set up as a warm-up for Mayweather’s much anticipated rematch against Manny Pacquiao at the Sphere in September.

Mayweather, who is undefeated in 50 fights, last fought professionally in 2017 - a TKO win against Conor McGregor in Paradise, Nevada. Since then, he has focused solely on exhibition fights. In eight non-pro bouts, TBE has a record of three wins, four non-scored and one no contest.

“2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for me,” Mayweather said. “Europe, I’m on the way to entertain.”

Zambidis is an 18-time World Champion, who came to prominince in K-1 and European kickboxing. The 45-year-old, Athens-born fighter has a pro record of 48-17-0. His last professional fight was against Steve Moxon in June 12015 which he won by decision. His only professional boxing match was against Venezuelan Antonio Gomez in March 2019.

When is Mayweather vs Zambidis?

The “Battle of the Legends” bout between Floyd Mayweather and Mike Zambidis will take place at the Telekom Center inside the OAKA Olympic Complex in Athens, Greece on Saturday June 27, 2026. The card will feature two world title bouts with international-level fighters, plus live entertainment and a concert.
