When was the last time Rickie Fowler won on the PGA Tour? Has he ever won a major?

Rickie Fowler is back. One of the most talented and loved players on the PGA Tour has struggled with his game the past few years, but he is playing some great golf at the 2023 US Open.

He’s back. It’s just what we all need. Sure, it’d be great to see Rory win another major, but how great is it to see Rickie Fowler styling his Puma gear and just enjoying golf. The guy has it all: talent, looks, family, friends, money and now he’s back at the top of his game. How can you not like the guy?

We all struggle from time to time and that’s part of his appeal. Over ten years ago he emerged on the scene with his orange polo shirts and big flat-brimmed hats and took it to golf’s best players. But something went wrong. Maybe it became too much like a job, maybe he lost his mojo, but he’s got it again and it’s fun to watch.

“Definitely appreciation, gratitude, knowing it’s a very humbling sport. Yeah, and there is some relief that three years is behind us, but, like I said, appreciate the good times because you never know when things are going to go south.”

In a remarkable display of consistency, the golfer has managed to avoid finishing outside the top 20 in all but one of his recent tournaments. The exception was the PGA Championship, where he, unfortunately, missed the cut. This impressive streak dates back to the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he finished in a respectable 31st place.

He changed caddies, changed coaches and Butch Harmon seems to have found something to make it all click again. At his press conference on Friday Fowler made it clear that if he’s back, it’s because a lot of people have supported him: “Knowing that everything other than golf was great, it was tough because golf was kind of the only thing that was not in place. Yeah, it was a grind, but to be back in here talking to you guys for a couple days, it feels great. This is where I want to be. It’s nice to be back in here.”

When was the last time that Rickie Fowler won a golf tournament?

Rickie Fowler’s last victory on the PGA Tour dates back to 2018 when he emerged victorious at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. That same year he was runner-up behind Patrick Reed at the Masters. Back in 2014 he finished in the top-5 at all four majors. He has struggled since then, but 2023 looks like it could be his year. He has two more days to play at the 2023 US Open and anything can happen. If he continues playing like this, nobody can stop him and he’s going to be a favorite to win the British Open in July for sure.

Has he ever won a major?

No, not yet, this could definitely be the week the way he is playing.
