Mahomes and Curry have participated in the event before, but unfortunately, they both lost. In June 2022, the Chiefs QB and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen faced tough competition against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, resulting in losses for their respective teams.
Where will “The Match” take place?
The Match VIII takes center stage this Thursday at the prestigious Wynn Golf Club in the vibrant city of Las Vegas. The anticipation is palpable as fans eagerly await the action, which will be broadcasted live on TNT and truTV at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
In 2020, golfer Phil Mickelson and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley emerged victorious over Curry and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
In the scramble format, players from both sides will each take a shot, and the better of the two shots will be selected. The team that achieves the lowest combined score of the two wins the hole.
