RUGBY WORLD CUP
Which team has won the most Rugby World Cups?
On Saturday, either New Zealand or South Africa will make Rugby World Cup history by becoming the first team to win the tournament four times.
The curtain will come up on the tenth Rugby World Cup with the final game on Saturday (October 28) at Saint-Denis in Paris when the New Zealand “All Blacks” face the South African “Springboks.”
The Webb Ellis Cup, awarded to the winner of the Rugby World Cup, has been won multiple times by (current holders) South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and once by England.
South Africa and New Zealand lead the pack with three victories each and are both vying to win the trophy for the fourth time - a record-breaking achievement. Meanwhile, Australia has clinched the trophy twice, and England rose to victory in the 2003 tournament.
In the third-place match, we will see Argentina and England national teams battling it out on Friday, October 27, at the Stadium de France.
