Who is Anna Lewandowska and could she debut in MMA?
Robert Lewandowski’s wife has an offer from the owner of KSW, one of the leading mixed martial arts companies in Europe.
Anna Lewandowska, the wife of the FC Barcelona Robert Lewandowski, received an offer from Slawomir Peszko to make her debut as a fighter. Peszko is the owner of KSW, the main mixed martial arts company in Poland and one of the most important in Europe.
MMA unlikely due to Lewandowski
Lewandowska was a great karateka (she won 38 medals during her career) but she has suggested that this will not be an offer she is accepting...because of her Barça man.
“I told Robert that if I weren’t his wife, I would probably participate in such an event,” Anna said on her podcast WojewódzkiKędzierski.
Lewandowska revealed that she met with Peszko where he made the proposal.
“I had a coffee with Slawomir Peszko, and he told me to try something new. He calculated that it was two years of preparation.
“I told him that I wanted to discuss it with my husband first.”
The Barça striker was not enthusiastic about the idea, especially as he found out from the press and not from Anna herself, as she explained.
“I left the meeting and after an hour this information appeared in the media. My husband found out from the press and asked me: ‘Anna, what are you doing? What are these things?’”
Who is Anna Lewandowska?
Anna is a great athlete. In addition to being a personal trainer, the Pole is a multiple medal winning, claiming 38 in total in karate, where she has represented her country. One of her most important was the bronze she won at the 2009 Karate World Championships.
Currently, she is retired and runs a business called ‘Healthy Center By Ann’, dedicated to diet foods. She graduated in Physical Education in Warsaw.
