Over the years, GGG has stated that he prefers to keep his family and professional lives separate, so very little is known about his wife, Alina Golovkina, who is also from Kazakhstan, and their two sons. “My focus is on boxing. Boxing: business. The family is different,” Golovkin told USA Today.

Alina and Golovkin were married on July 7, 2007, according to The Sun. The couple has two children, Vadim and a daughter, who was born on September 8, 2017, days before Golovkin’s first fight against Saul Álvarez on September 16, 2017. In 2019, The Sun reported that their son Vadim was in elementary school.
