Who is golf’s number one after Wyndham Clark wins the 2023 US Open?

Following Wyndham Clark’s impressive victory at the 2023 US Open, it will be interesting to reexamine the current state of the PGA rankings and determine which players have benefitted most in terms of the FedEx Cup points list, official golf rankings and season earnings list.

Money List

This week’s rankings have seen significant gains for Wyndham Clark, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy, who all achieved high placements and earned impressive amounts.

Scheffler retains the top spot with earnings of $17,706,725, followed by Jon Rahm, who reached $15,210,983 despite a disappointing tenth position at the US Open. Moving up to third place is Wyndham Clark, with $10,092,979 in earnings, followed by Viktor Hovland ($9,685,096) and Rory McIlroy ($8,994,758). These players have all made significant strides in their rankings this week.
