PGA Tour golf returns to Utah for the first time since 1963, at the inaugural tournament played at the famous Black Desert Resort in Ivins.


Next port of call for the PGA Tour is Utah for the Black Desert Championship which commences on 10 October and winds up on the 13th with the new event on the FedEx Cup Fall schedule set to feature a prize purse of $7.5m.
The Black Desert Resort, is a par 71 course with a distance of 7,371 yards and the tournament will be the first PGA TOUR event in Utah since 1963 (the course will also host an LPGA Tour event in 2025).
The course is, essentially, a brand-new golf course and will be the first course in PGA TOUR history to use robotic fairway mowers.

Mitchell and Hossler were both in contention to win last week’s Sanderson Farms Championship, but Kevin Yu secured the victory, beating Hossler in a playoff to record his first PGA Tour win.
