Michael Chang is the youngest male athlete to have ever clinched a Grand Slam championship. He made his debut at the age of 17 years and 110 days. He succeeded by winning the 1989 French Open against the formidable Stefan Edberg.
While this may have been his sole Grand Slam triumph, he managed to advance to two additional major finals back in 1996, ultimately securing a spot in the championship match at the Australian and U.S. Open.
