The Formula 1 market for the 2025 season is expected to be exciting, with many rumors and speculations about drivers and garage transfers. The spotlight is on Red Bull, and there are talks that the energy team may have one car available next season as Checo Pérez’s contract ends in 2024. Additionally, depending on what happens with Max Verstappen, two cars may be available. The Dutchman’s future has been discussed due to Christian Horner’s controversy, which ended with the Briton’s acquittal. However, other significant names are associated with the energy team and Horner, including Adrian Newey, the creator of the most dominant car in recent times.

According to the Motorsport.com portal, Red Bull’s technical director, Adrian Newey, has an offer from Aston Martin to leave Milton Keynes and move to Silverstone. The green team is expanding its facilities and would like to add one of the key figures in the paddock. Newey’s departure could significantly impact Red Bull, as he has been instrumental in creating their successful cars in recent years.

Interestingly, this would not be the first transfer between the two teams. Dan Fallows, the former head of aerodynamics at Red Bull, signed up with the green team, and recently, a Hungarian engineer named Andor Hegedus arrived from Milton Keynes. The transfer of such key figures between teams is always a topic of discussion in F1, and it will be interesting to see how these possible moves will affect the teams’ performance in the upcoming season.

The departure of Lee Stevenson, who served as the chief mechanic for Max Verstappen’s team, has continued the trend of key members leaving the champion team. Although unclear where he is headed, Stevenson announced his resignation on his social media accounts: “It’s been an amazing ride, thank you so much. It’s been an incredible journey and one that I’m very proud of. What we’ve achieved has been monumental and something I would never of fathomed in 2006. This is the end of part A; part B of my life starts on Monday. Thank you all once again.
