Madrid continues to rev up its engines to welcome Formula 1. A year has passed since Checo Pérez drove his Red Bull car through the centre of the Spanish capital with its streets brought to a standstill, packed with thousands of fans who came to take part in a unique event.

After that, F1 fans’ desire for a new Grand Prix in Spain became clear and, months later, it became a reality: the Madrid GP has been approved - for 2026. Meanwhile, the city is already preparing and, as a preview of what that Grand Prix weekend will be like, Red Bull is preparing another great event that will mark another exciting step towards the consolidation of Madrid as a key player in the world of motorsport.

Madrid builds up for 2026 Spanish GP

That’s why Red Bull Pit Lane Comunidad de Madrid is coming. On the weekend of November 2-3, in the Plaza de Colón, fans will be able to enter the world of Formula 1 through an immersive experience in which there will be a multitude of activities, as well as being able to follow the Brazilian GP live, which will take place that same weekend, on giant screens in the main square.

In fact, the key moment of this event will be the F1 Watch Party, from Plaza de Colón’s central square, hosted by Antonio Lobato and Toni Cuquerella who will narrate the Formula 1 race while fans follow the action on the big screen.

Throughout both days, there will be a varied offer of food and drink available in the gastronomic area with food trucks plus live shows, with a performances from Papi Gavi, Red Bull Batalla, Red Bull Dance Your Style, and the Conexión Playstation show, among others.

During the day, attendees will also be able to take part in a wide range of activities designed to immerse themselves in the world of Formula 1 and experience it first-hand. To put themselves in the shoes of the drivers, fans will have access to simulators, so they can get behind the wheel of a single-seater car and feel what it’s like to race on the best circuits in the world.

They will also have to face mechanical challenges, such as the Pit Stop Challenge, in which they will compete against the clock to demonstrate their skills in changing tyres, like a real F1 mechanic; or show off their best reflexes in the Reaction Challenge.

There will also be a wide range of clothing and other items for sale at the brand’s official merchandising pop-up store.
