Update:

Max Verstappen won his third consecutive world title this year with ease. He secured the victory during the Qatar Grand Prix sprint race last week, finishing as the runner-up to Oscar Piastri. He went on to win the main event the following day. Verstappen, the driver of Red Bull, expressed his desire to purchase Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari after winning his third World Drivers’ Championship. The Dutchman, who claims not to have heroes, wants the legendary former driver’s vehicle as a souvenir.

Schumacher, who won seven titles in his career, is one of the most significant drivers of all time and shares the top spot with Lewis Hamilton. Many believe that Verstappen could join them and maybe even surpass them. The Red Bull driver has been with the team since the beginning of his career in 2016 and is under contract until 2028. Much debate has been about whether Verstappen will match Schumacher and Hamilton’s joint record of seven world titles.

Verstappen has previously hinted that he could retire when his current contract ends in 2028, insisting that he has interests outside Formula One. However, he expressed his love for Red Bull and his happiness with the team, stating that it would be a beautiful story if he could drive for the team forever. The reigning champion started his career with Red Bull’s junior team, Toro Rosso (now AlphaTauri), before debuting for the senior team in 2016.
