Bengals 32 vs 14 Ravens summary, stats, score and highlights | NFL Week 13

The Bengals defense had 11 turnovers coming into the game on Thursday, and against the Ravens they forced five turnovers. It was a must win for Cincy, and they got the win to keep their season alive thanks to the defense. 

Lamar threw coughed up another red zone turnover and it was Demtrius Knight Jr. taking it back to the 50 yard line. Jackson went 17/32 for 246 yards and this INT and a couple of fumbles. 

Joe Burrow didn't quite look himself in his first action since September, but he didn't have to be thanks to the defense. Burrow ended the night with 24/46 for 261 and two TDs. 

At the end of the half, Jackson coughed up another fumbled this time with a forward throwing motion that was recovered by CIN. That would give the Bengals a chance to put another FG on the board, and McPherson hit his fourth of six FGs right before the half. 

The Raves were on the verge of putting their second TD on the board with a great catch and run from Isaiah Likely but he was stripped before crossing the goal line and the refs called a touchback. 

Things started to spiral after the TD from Henry, staring with this turnover on the strip sack of Lamar Jackson. Credit for the BAL defense for keeping the Bengals out of the end zone after getting the fumble at the one, but they could't hold strong all night in Baltimore. 

The Cincinnati Bengals came into Thanksgiving looking to keep their season alive and got Joe Burrow back for their huge match up against the Baltimore Ravens. 

It was the Ravens who got into the end zone first with this Derrick Henry run on the opening drive of the night, but that was about the only thing that went right for the Ravens on Thursday.

WE ARE BACK IN BALTIMORE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF ACTION!

The Ravens were on the verge of the scoring a TD but Battle came through and knocked the ball free from Likely's hand and that turned into a touchback for CIN. The defense has come up big, but the offense and Joe Burrow can't get into the endzone. 

Burrow is 15/32 for 165 yards in his return, and Jackson is 8/15 for 127 yards. 

Lamar Jackson doesn't make many mistakes, and even when he does he can usually make up for them, but there was no excusing the mistake he made late in the 2nd quarter. 

The only problem for Cincy was their offense not being able to get into the end zone. They have kicked four field goals in 30 minutes. 

It's been a sloppy game for the most part, but the Ravens did get into the end zone on their first drive of the night. Derrick Henry took the run to the left side in for a 27 yard TD run and this seemed like we might be heading for a shootout. Henry as 5 rushes for just 33 yards, but expect him to see more of the ball in the 2nd half.

The Ravens get into the end zone with a 27 yard run and this is what Baltimore needs to see a little more of. He is one of the best backs in the league, and he might used these final weeks of the season to remind everyone that he is still the King.

The Ravens are back at home and they have the rivalry threads on for this big game. Mark Andrews and Baltimore are going with the all purple unis with the gold numbers. If I were a betting man, I wouldn't go against the home side with the nice threads. 

Joe Burrow is back for the Bengals. He has been out for two months, and the question is, can he come back and lead Cincy to a win tonight and keep them in the playoff hunt for the rest of the season? 

The Dallas Cowboys just beat the Kansas City in the 2nd game of out Turkey Day triple triple header. KC's dynasty is dangerously to coming to an end and the Cowboys are hitting stride at the right time. 

AFC standings

Taking a look at the AFC Standings we see things tight at the top of the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens are back in the pole position after winning five straight and seeing the Steelers go through a bit of a mid season slump. The Bengals are three games out of the division race, and even farther out of the Wild Card positions. They know they need to win out if they are going to have a chance to win the division, or even be in the hunt for a Wild Card spot.

Lamar Jackson has been hampered by injuries all year long, and it all seemed lost for the Ravens much like the Bengals after losing Burrow. Jackson returned a few weeks ago, and the Ravens have rattled off four straight wins. He’s a two time MVP but he know this season could be his seeing the Bills and Chiefs in a fragile moment after years of domination. In 8 games, he has almost 1,600 yards, 15 TDs and just 3 INTs and has run for another 237 yards and a TD. It’s a far cry from his near 4,000 yard passing 1,000 yard rushing season from last year, but that may not be what his team needs.

Joe Burrow is officially back. While all might seem lost for the Bengals they were in a similar situation last year. Burrow wasn’t hurt, but they got off to a horrific start but they course corrected and Burrow had a career year. He put up MVP numbers throwing for 4,918 yards and 43 TDs with just 9 INT, but the Bengals still missed the playoffs. It might be too late, but Burrow is still coming in to save the season for Cincy. 

Burrow is back 

It was announced via instagram on a post by Joe Burrow announcing his return. He was in a mirror in a LeBron James Cleveland Cavaliers jersey with the simple words saying “He’s Back.” Is it too late? That’s the question. Burrow has been plagued by injuries and slow starts since his Super Bowl run with the Bengals. He is back tonight, but he and Cincy know there is no room for error. 

Ravens last game  

It wasn’t a pretty game for the Ravens who were held to just three points at the halftime break. Lamar Jackson didn’t have a big game against the Jets defense, going for just 13/23 fo just 153 yards, but Derrick Henry’s two second half TD rushes were enough to put the Ravens up and keep them up for the rest of the way. The defense locked down and kept NY to just 3 points after an opening possession TD, and Baltimore held on for the win and went to the top of the table in the AFC North. 

Bengals last game 

The Bengals lost their fourth straight game, and even though they put up a fight against the New England Patriots. Joe Flacco was in at QB for one last week before Burrow’s return and he had his team in the game until the end even without Ja’Marr Chase who was suspended for spitting on an opponent in the previous week. Cincy took a 10-0 lead in the 2nd quarter, but Drake Maye heated up and a pick six from Marcus Jones put NE in front at the half. The New England defense held strong the rest of the way and kept the lead until the very end. Cincy had a chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but NE came up with a turnover on downs with 23 seconds on the clock and closed out the Bengals to put them in a must win situation from here until the end of the season.
