Getafe vs Barcelona: as it happened
Peeep peeep peeeep! It ends goalless.
Barça have been held to their second straight 0-0 draw in LaLiga, and their lead at the top has been shaved back to 11 points this weekend.
Having hit the post twice in the first half, the visitors really struggled to create much more than that.
Indeed, the best chance of the second half went to Getafe. If that late opportunity for Borja Mayoral had been directed a few inches further to the right, the hosts would likely be celebrating three utterly precious points.
As it is, a draw against the leaders is very useful to Getafe, who provisionally move four points clear of the drop zone, with 18th-placed Valencia still to play today.
As for Barça, who hadn't posted consecutive scoreless draws in LaLiga since 2005, it's still a question of when, rather than if, they're crowned Spanish champions for the 27th time.

Again Torre will deliver a free-kick in an exceedingly threatening position, this time on the right. This is pretty much last-chance saloon for Barcelona. Can they snatch a winner?
No, no they cannot. Torres' cross is overhit, and that is that.
Torre delivers a free-kick into the Getafe from the left wing - but the flag is up. A number of Barça players were caught offside when the set piece was taken.
Barça really haven't created much at all in this second half. There was that Raphinha shot, and - unless my memory is failing me - pretty much nothing else.
Three minutes of time added on in Getafe.
Pablo Torre is on for Barcelona, with Raphinha coming off.
What a chance for Mayoral! He's so close to scoring what very probably would have been the winner. It's magnificent play by Algobia, who thunders down the right wing, covering a good 50 yards, before squaring into the box.
Algobia's cross isn't the best, to be honest, and Araújo should deal with it - but he doesn't. He makes a complete hash of it, allowing the ball to run through to Mayoral. The striker takes one touch to steady himself, before shooting low... but his strike flies just past Ter Stegen's far post.
Barça pump a high ball forward into the box, where Lewandowski gets his head to it. Soria saves.
Alderetea and Araújo are both left down in a heap on the turf, but are both back on their feet soon enough.
Getafe make another double sub, bringing on Gonzalo Villar and Gaston Álvarez for Ünal and Suárez. Ünal doesn't look best pleased to be coming off.
Barça's free-kick drought
This is an interesting stat from Mister Chip: Barça haven't scored from a direct free-kick in nearly two years. Lionel Messi was the last to manage it, in May 2021 against Valencia.
Balde shoots right-footed from 25 yards, but slaps his effort well over the bar.
Ten minutes between Barça and a second straight goalless draw.
Getafe make a double substitution, replacing Maksimovic and Munir with Carles Aleñà and Ángel Algobia.
Again that's fine play by Raphinha, who jinks his way into a yard of shooting space on the right, before rifling a low shoot towards Soria's far post. For a moment it looks like it is arrowing into the corner, but the Getafe goalkeeper flings himself to his right to produce an excellent stop.
Having done good defensive work a moment ago, Raphinha now does likewise in attack. The Brazilian lifts a venomous inswinging delivery that looks to be flying right onto Ansu's forehead, only for Duarte to get a crucial, crucial touch to it before it reaches the youngster.
Barça give it away cheaply just inside their own half, allowing Mayoral to lift a ball through to Munir to chase down the left wing. The Moroccan looks pretty tired at this point, to be honest, and is dispossessed by Raphinha.
Portu is straight into the action, when Getafe work it to the Spaniard in space to run at the Barcelona. Run at Barcelona he does, but with Ünal making a diagonal attacking run ahead of him, Portu fails to find the Turk. His weak pass is easily cut out.
Barcelona also shuffle their pack, with Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati coming on. Kessié and Alba make way.
Juan Iglesias is the Getafe player withdrawn, with Portu on to replace him.
Raphinha thumps the free-kick well over the bar.
Busquets is tugged back just outside the Getafe box, and Barcelona have a dangerous free-kick some 25 yards or so out.
Before it's taken, Getafe make a change.
Djené lifts a through ball over the top, releasing Ünal in behind the defence. After steadying himself, the Turk drills his low shot well past the post, but his miss doesn't matter. He was offside, and in fact the Barça defenders seemed to be fairly certain of that as he ran into the box.
Mayoral holds the ball up well on the right, then lays it off for Milla to cross. Milla promptly pumps the ball high into the stand behind the goal, drawing groans of disappointment from the home fans. With men waiting inside the box, it was a decent attacking position for Getafe.
Koundé exchanges passes with Raphinha, before driving towards the right-hand byline. His crosses is deflected behind, and Raphinha will deliver the corner.
The Brazilian delivers low, and after Gavi and Suárez tussle for the ball on the penalty spot, it falls to Lewandowski on the edge of the six-yard box.
The Pole backheels towards goal, drawing a very good reflex save from Soria... but it wouldn't have stood. Gavi is adjudged to have fouled Suárez when they challenged to meet Raphinha's delivery.
Suárez is booked for bringing down Gavi. He clearly treads on the Barça man's foot.
Alba controls and crosses from a deep left-wing position, his delivery arrowing right onto Lewandowski's head. He doesn't get the connection he'd have liked, however, and succeeds only in nodding a fairly tame effort wide.
Kessié strikes powerfully at goal - but the flag is up! Busquets lifts the ball into the box to find Alba's run into a crossing position. His delivery falls to Kessié, who gets plenty of welly behind his strike. Soria has to look alive to parry, but it wouldn't have counted even if he hadn't.
Mayoral carries the ball forward down the right wing, before tumbling to the floor when he tussles with Gavi. Getafe want a free-kick, but they don't get one.
The hosts have started the half well, though, and come back at Barça. Iglesias sends a long throw-in into the area, where Araújo and García commit the cardinal sin of each leaving it to the other and letting the ball bounce. Suárez is quickly onto it, but - fortunately for Barça - fouls his man as he tries to hit it.
A let-off for the away side.
Koundé fouls Ünal, giving Getafe a decent-looking free-kick on the left. Munir tries to take it early, playing it low into Mayoral's run into the Barcelona box, but the referee isn't having any of that. Munir has to take it again, and when he finally lifts a cross into the area, Barça deal with it without too much trouble.
Ter Stegen punts a high ball up the field, right at Alderete under not too much pressure. The Getafe defender makes a right old hash of his attempt at dealing with it, though. He swings at the ball and misses, and has to hurry back towards his byline to shepherd it out for a goal-kick, with Raphinha breathing down his neck.
Peeeep! The second half is underway.

Barça's mini-goal drought continues
It's now four hours and five minutes of football since Barcelona last scored a goal, Mister Chip notes.
The Catalans last netted when Ferran Torres rounded off the scoring in the 4-0 LaLiga thupming of Elche on 1 April. Since then, Barça have drawn blanks against Real Madrid and Girona, and in the first half today.
Peeep peeep peeeep! That's half time in Getafe.
It's been fairly solidly Barça ball at the Coliseum - nearly 70% possession for the visitors - and it's the Blaugrana who have come the closest to breaking the deadlock. That, of course, was when Raphinha and Balde both hit the post inside the space of a few seconds.
Getafe have absolutely looked capable of scoring themselves, though. Their best chance was probably that Munir header almost right at the start.
Getafe are a little miffed when Djené goes down injured and Barcelona play on. With the defender lying on a heap on the edge fo the area, Alba feeds it to Araújo, who takes a touch and strikes towards goal. His effort is very firmly struck indeed, but is blocked.
A moment later, Busquets crosses from the right for Lewandowski, who directs a firm enough header at goal, but it's too close to Soria. The Getafe keeper dives to his left and grabs hold.
Alderete stands over a Getafe free-kick on the halfway line, but promptly shanks it high into the air and down into Ter Stegen's gullet.
Two minutes of time added on at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
Alderete catches Lewandowski as the pair challenge for a high ball, and is rewarded with a yellow card.
That gives Barça a free-kick in the right-hand channel, which Getafe get behind for a corner. That also comes to nought.
Mayoral controls on the right-hand corner of the Barcelona box, before pulling the trigger. He has more than one grey shirt on top of him, though, and his effort is half-blocked before dribbling tamely through to Ter Stegen.
Gavi whips in a cross from the left, and to be honest it looks like it's floating out for a Getafe goal-kick. However, clearly not 100% sure what's behind him, Alderete chooses to get his head on Gavi's delivery rather than letting it go. For a moment, his clearance bounces awkwardly in the Getafe area, but Iglesias finally boots it away.
Having initially taken up Sergi Roberto's position on the right, García is now in the middle, with Koundé shifting wide.
Again Barcelona knock it about for a good 90 seconds, two minutes in front of a sea of blue shirts on the edge of the Getafe box. García tries to feed the ball into Gavi's run into crossing space on the right, but the teenager is muscled off it. The hosts clear.
Lewandowski drops deep, turns and plays Raphinha into crossing space on the right-hand side of the penalty box. The Brazilian is arriving at pace and delivers low first-time, but his cross is weakly hit. Getafe clear without too much fuss.
Barcelona have created some chances now! Three, indeed - and twice they hit the post!
Released in behind the Getafe defence by Lewandowski’s flick, Raphinha controls and shoots low, but his strike nbounces back off the upright! Balde is following up in the area… and his shot also rebounds off the same post.
A moment later, Barça work it to Raphinha on the edge of the box. He drops a shoulder and shoots from the ‘D’, but Soria parries!
Maksimovic chests down for Mayoral to chase the ball into the Barcelona box, and the striker does very well to win a corner.
Munir delivers the set piece, and it's a good chance for Ünal! He rises highest to meet the corner, but can only direct his header over the bar! It's been mainly Barça ball, but Getafe have created both the best opportunities so far.
Barça plop it about in front of the Getafe defence, before Iglesias clears. Back come the visitors, who again keep the ball for a long, long time as Getafe sit and wait. Finally, Busquets lifts a pass over to the left towards Balde, who can't bring it under control before it bounces out.
Off Sergi Roberto comes, with Eric García on in his stead. Koundé assumes he's going to be switching over to the vacant right-back berth, and is already making his way over to the wing as García trots onto the pitch. But the substitute tells Koundé to get back in the middle. García is to be deployed on the right.
Sergi Roberto looks to have twanged his hamstring - and he can't continue. Barça are forced into an early change.
Busquets feeds the ball out left to Balde, who prods a ball into the Getafe area. Lewandowski helps it on towards the back post, where Raphinha is very nearly in for a close-range finish. However, Alderete just manages to get there first and clear the danger.
Gavi second only to Suárez
Opta note that Gavi's second-minute booking is Barça's second-fastest in LaLiga since at least 2005/06.
After that energetic Getafe start, it's been mainly Barça ball in the home side's half for the past two, three minutes or so. Raphinha fizzes a low ball to Kessié on the edge of the penalty box, where the Ivorian spins and tries to dink a pass into Lewandowski's run into the area. He can't find the Pole, however; Getafe clear.
Barça launch their first attack of any real substance. Gavi brings the ball forward in the left-hand channel, before slipping it wide to Alba. He doesn't need a second invitation to ping an outswinging ball into the Getafe area, but it's just too high for Raphinha at the back post. Goal-kick to the hosts.
It's a bright start by Getafe, who create the game's first scoring chance. Borja Mayoral is released into space to attack the right-hand byline, before whipping in a cross towards the penalty spot.
Mayoral's ball is right on Munir's head, but the Barça youth product nods into the ground and a yard or so past Ter Stegen's post. By no means a sitter, but that was a very presentable chance for the Moroccan.
Gavi's foul on Ünal gives Getafe an early opportunity to send a dead ball into the Barcelona box, but Munir El Haddadi's delivery isn't the best. Chance spurned.
We already have a man in referee Juan Pulido's notebook. Enes Ünal receives the ball and sets off across the halfway and into the Barcelona half. Gavi tugs him back, and is shown an early yellow card. Bit harsh, perhaps?
An early correction to the team news I gave you earlier. It is Jordi Alba who is playing at full-back, and Alejandro Balde who is in the more attacking position on the left wing.

Who's a booking from a ban in Getafe vs Barcelona?
There are a good few starters today who are one yellow card away from picking up a one-match ban. That’s particularly true of the hosts, whose entire front three will be walking the tightrope.

We're just over 20 minutes out from kick-off at the Coliseum, where both sets of players are busy stretching those hammies.

Barça winless at Coliseum in over three years
Another cause for Getafe optimism today is that, although Barcelona are on a good run of away form in LaLiga, their record at the Coliseum isn’t all that hot.
At the Camp Nou, Barça have won their last five league meetings with Los Azulones - but in Getafe, they’ve dropped points on their last two visits.
The Catalans were held to a 0-0 draw there in 2021/22, and lost 1-0 the season before.
Barça’s most recent league win at the Coliseum was in September 2019, under Ernesto Valverde: a 2-0 victory that saw Luis Suárez and Junior Firpo get the goals.

24 points from the last 27 on the road for Barcelona
While Getafe are on a hot steak on home turf, Barcelona’s away form in LaLiga is also really rather good, so - cliché alert - I guess something has to give today.
The league leaders have won eight out of their last nine matches on the road in LaLiga - a sequence that has included six clean sheets.
The one game Barça failed to win on that run, by the way, was against one of Getafe’s fellow strugglers - a 1-0 reverse at Almería in February. That, I imagine, offers some encouragement to today’s hosts.

Xavi has made two changes to the Barça side that began the midweek stalemate with Girona, bringing Jordi Alba and Franck Kessié into the Blaugrana XI.
Alba’s fellow left-back Alejandro Balde also plays today, so it looks like the former will be pressed into a more attacking position on the left flank.
With Kessié coming into Barça’s midfield, Sergi Roberto drops to right-back. Eric García and Ansu Fatiare the two players who make way.
Key quartet Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé all remain out injured.

Getafe need all the home points they can get...
It’s a good job Getafe’s home form is decent, by the way, because their away record this season is really quite pants.
They’ve won just twice on the road all season in LaLiga, and are winless in their last eight away league games.
Getafe on good run of home form
Were Getafe to go down, they’d be consigned to only their second season outside of the Spanish top flight since they were first promoted to Primera División back in 2004.
Their home form does offer cause for optimism that they’ll beat the drop, though. Indeed, Los Azulones are unbeaten in four in LaLiga at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, and have won their last three.
Most recently, goals by Munir El Haddadi and Enes Ünal gave Getafe a 2-0 home victory over Sevilla in late March.
Getafe fighting for LaLiga survival
While Barcelona look to be cruising to the title, Getafe are very much in a battle to avoid the drop.
Quique Sánchez Flores’ men currently sit 16th, just three points clear of the relegation zone as it stands. It's so, so tight at the bottom of the league right now: just five points separate Sevilla in 13th and Espanyol in 19th.

Nacho pearler wins it for Madrid in Cádiz
Real Madrid's win in Cádiz came courtesy of two fine strikes by Nacho Fernández and Marco Asensio, as Los Blancos kept alive at least some dim, outside hope of catching Barcelona. Nacho's goal, in particular, was a beaut.
It was a good performance from Madrid; while it will likely count for little in terms of their league title hopes, it certainly sets them up very nicely indeed for Tuesday's Champions League return against Chelsea.

Barcelona look to reassert 13-point LaLiga lead
Barcelona dropped points last time out - drawing 0-0 at home to Girona on Monday - but, despite Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Cádiz yesterday, the Catalans continue to hold a double-digit lead at the top of the table.
Barça can push that advantage back up to 13 points in Getafe, and it really will take the most epic of meltdowns for Xavi Hernández's men to throw the title away at this stage.
