25,000 Tigres fans show up to pre-Liga MX final training session
The second leg of the 2023 Clausura season takes place at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara with the first leg ending in a 0-0 draw.
Tigres fans gave their team a huge send off in their last training session of the Clausura 2023, before the squad travel to Guadalajara as the search for their eighth Liga MX title.
The University stadium in San Nicolás de los Garza was a riot of blue and yellow as a wall of noise greeted the squad and coaching staff as they emerged from the tunnel to the pitch for the final training session ahead of the second leg of the final.
“We thank you once again for this party, it’s now our turn to go out and get the trophy. We are going to give our all to get what we feel is rightfully ours” said Nahuel Guzmán, Tigres goalkeeper after the session.
All to play for in second leg
Tigres and Chivas played out a 0-0 draw at ‘El Volcan’ in the first leg on Thursday with Chivas aiming for their 13th Liga MX crown with the side from Nuevo Leon gunning for title number eight.
The last time the ‘Sacred Flock’ won their last last Liga MX title was against the same rivals - they edged Tigres 4-3 on aggregate to win the Clausura 2017.
