Major League Soccer is starting to transfer more players to Europe’s top tier and Adam Buksa is the latest one to make the switch. It has been confirmed that the New England Revolution agreed to transfer the Polish striker to Ligue 1 side RC Lens for a fee of $10 million.

After two-and-a-half years my time in New England has come to an end. I did my absolute best each and every day in order to become a better player and I hope you enjoyed watching me play throughout this period of time. I wish you nothing but the best for the future and a part of me says that it doesn’t necessarily have to be a goodbye message but rather a see you soon,” wrote Buksa in an open letter.

The Polish striker was the Revs’ leading scorer during the 2021 MLS regular season and helped the New England-based team to win their first Supporters’ Shield title that year.

The 25-year-old scored 29 goals and provided eight assists in 64 appearances across all competitions with the Revolution.
