CONCACAF have announced the process for the draw involving all 27 clubs participating in the 2025 Champions Cup. The event will take place on 10 December in Miami, Florida, and the tournament, which starts in February of next year, will be played in a five-round knockout format, including the first Round, round of 16, quarterfinals and semifinals, all using a home and away format with the final itself set to be a single match on 1 June.

The 60th edition of the competition will begin its first round activity on 4 February, the round of 16 will be played the following month, the quarter-finals in the first two weeks of April and the semi-finals in the last weeks of April and the first weeks of May.

The draw can be followed through the CONCACAF YouTube channel and Fox Sports in the United States with the event starting at 7pm ET. The competition bracket will be defined according to the CONCACAF club coefficient ranking which will be published a day before the draw.

The champions of the three CONCACAF regional cups, the Liga MX champion with the most accumulated points and the MLS Cup Champion receive a bye to the Round of 16 and five additional clubs will be pre-seeded into a Round of 16 position according to their place in the rankings.

In the first round, the three highest-ranked clubs will be pre-seeded into a first-round position and the remaining 10 clubs will be distributed between two “Pots”: Pot 1, with the highest-ranked clubs, and Pot 2, with the lowest-ranked clubs.

Canadian Championship (one club): Vancouver Whitecaps FC (CAN)

Canadian Premier League (two clubs): Cavalry FC (CAN) and Forge FC (CAN)

Concacaf Caribbean Cup (two clubs): Cavalier FC (JAM), Cibao FC (DOM)

Concacaf Central American Cup (six clubs): Antigua GFC (GUA), CS Herediano (CRC), Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), FC Motagua (HON), LD Alajuelense (CRC), Real Esteli FC (NCA)

Leagues Cup (three clubs): Colorado Rapids (USA), Columbus Crew (USA), Los Angeles FC (USA)

Liga MX (six clubs): CD Guadalajara (MEX), CF Monterrey (MEX), Club America (MEX), Cruz Azul (MEX), Pumas UNAM (MEX), Tigres UANL (MEX)

MLS (four clubs): FC Cincinnati (USA), Inter Miami CF (USA), LA Galaxy (USA), Real Salt Lake (USA) 

US Open Cup (one club): Sporting Kansas City (USA)

The remaining two clubs will be confirmed before the December draw. These will be the third-place team in the 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup and the 2024 MLS Cup champion.
