Ancelotti’s possible Real Madrid XI for must-win clash against Leganés
Once Ancelotti may opt to rotate his team with key Copa del Rey and Champions League games imminent for ‘Los Blancos’.

Rotations seem to be the order of the day again for Carlo Ancelotti as the Italian looks to find a team that is both competitive enough for this evening’s home game against Leganés and at the same time ensuring he has enough artillery ready for Tuesday, when Madrid can secure their passage to the Copa del Rey final as they face Real Sociedad in the semi-final second leg.
The spotlight falls on the South American entourage fresh back from their transatlantic CONMEBOL World Cup games with Valverde certainly to be rested with either Vinicius or Rodrygo also set to start on the bench with Brahim expected to start as doubts about Alaba making the eleven remain.
Tchouameni also seems destined to make a start on the subs bench with the French international one of the key players who needs some respite after playing 210 minutes in this international break. Modric and Camavinga seem poised to start in the heart of midfield with Mbappé, Bellingham, Brahim and one of Vini/Rodrygo helping out in attack.

A doubt in defense
In defense, there is a doubt over Rüdiger or Alaba with Asencio set to start having not played a second for Spain despite his international call-up from Luis de la Fuente.
