Andrés Guardado helps Real Betis triumph in Europa League
The Mexican player was booked, but played the full 90 minutes in his team’s 3-2 win against Ludogorets.
Andrés Guardado played 90 minutes in Real Betis’ 3-2 Europa League win over Ludogorets on Thursday.
The Mexican player was cautioned in the 74th minute for complaining to the referee, however, he was key from midfield in the side’s win.
Guardado received a 7.4 rating from SofaScore and completed 84 per cent of his passes. The experienced midfielder also completed 16 long passes over the course of the game.
Luiz Henrique (25′), Joaquín Sánchez Rodríguez (39′) and Sergio Canales (59′) scored the Betis goals, while, Kiril Despodov ( 45+1′) and Rick (74′), scored for the Bulgarian side.
Guardado is fighting for a place in Qatar 2022 and has a chance of making the list of 26 players who will head to the World Cup.
