Another Argentine set to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami
Less than a week on from the MLS Cup triumph, the Herons are preparing to announce the first of many offseason reinforcements.

There is no rest at Inter Miami as preparations begin for the next season. Fresh off their MLS Cup victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps just a week ago, the club’s hierarchy, led by Jorge Mas, has already set to work on building a squad to challenge for another title.
According to multiple reports, including those from journalist César Luis Merlo and confirmed by Tom Bogert, Inter Miami is finalizing the details to secure its first signing for the upcoming campaign.
That player is full-back Facundo Mura, who will arrive from Argentinian team Racing Club as a free agent. With his contract expiring, Inter Miami will not be required to pay a transfer fee.

Mura, 26, is out of contract and will sign on a free transfer. Spent the last four seasons with Racing Club.

Mura will become the Herons’ first reinforcement and is set to replace Marcelo Weigandt, who will return to Boca Juniors following the expiration of his loan with the MLS champions.
With Mura’s signing imminent, Inter Miami is addressing one of the key gaps in the team. The club is now expected to strengthen additional areas of the squad.
Chief among them are the midfield and left-back positions, following the exits of Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, who retired as champions after lifting MLS Cup. Their departures leave significant vacancies that the club must fill to maintain the team’s quality and remain competitive for future titles.
