Lionel Scaloni’s side now face 179th FIFA ranked Curaçao in the northern Argentine city of Santiago del Estero as they continue the 2022 World Cup celebrations with another part of the nation.

The hunger and desire to see the national team in action has led to the tickets for the friendly against Curaçao being sold out in 1.17 minutes as 39,086 fans snapped up the available tickets via the Deportick platform.

As soon as the tickets went on sale, over 305,448 simultaneous users endeavoured to bag a coveted match ticket and despite the surge in demand, the entire system remained stable with many fans, once again missing out on seeing Messi and co. in action.
