Atlético Madrid confirmed starting lineup against Real Madrid in LaLiga

After the Champions League and just before the international break, it is time for the derby at the Bernabéu. Atlético have had an intense three months, competing in four competitions, and arrive for the match against Real Madrid in good spirits, although somewhat short on energy.

The game against Tottenham was demanding, and Diego Simeone will be without Oblak, Barrios, Mendoza and, barring any surprises, Pubill.

In goal, it will be Musso’s turn. The Argentine, who has featured in the Cup and in the match in London, is also expected to start at the Bernabéu. He has the full confidence of both his teammates and Simeone and will step in while Oblak recovers from his side injury.

In defence, Pubill’s absence due to rib pain opens up several options for the starting line-up.

Le Normand plays alongside Hancko in central defence, while Ruggeri starts on the left, although he was carrying a knock on Saturday.

In midfield, Simeone does not have many alternatives, so Koke and Cardoso form the double pivot.

On the right, Giuliano Simeone starts, providing both work rate and attacking threat down the wing. On the left, Lookman will offer creativity.

In attack, Griezmann starts alongside Julián Álvarez, with Sørloth on the bench.
