Jules Koundé will become a Barça player in the next few hours. As AS understands, Sevilla and Barça have reached an agreement for the French central defender with only the issue of the variables included in the deal still being discussed.

Koundé, 23, will become the latest in a long line of players who have moved from Sevilla to Barça. In recent years, Dani Alves, Keita, Adriano, Rakitic, Lenglet have ended up at the Catalan club from the Andalusian club. Koundé's move to Camp Nou is reminiscent of Dani Alves’ in 2008, when Barça signed him ahead of Real Madrid and Chelsea; or Rakitic’s transfer in 2014, which boosted the midfield. Curiously, Barcelona won the treble in the seasons following both of those signings. Koundé is set to fulfill his dream of playing for Barça with the deal expected to be made official in the next few hours.
