According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça has closed a friendly match against Vissel Kobe, Andrés Iniesta’s team, with the Albacete native set to turn 39 (on May 11). The game will take place on 6 June at the National Stadium in Tokyo, just a couple of days after Xavi’s team will have played their last league game of the season against Celta.

It will be the second year in a row that Barça play a post-season friendly after they travelled to Australia last season to play against an All-Star XI. Vissel Kobe and Barça have already met with the J-League side hosting the Catalan giants in July, 2019. A brace from Carles Pérez was good enough for the ‘azulgrana’ to record the win as part of their pre-season activity.
