Barcelona set to sign Senegalese defender
The young prospect will join the Spanish champions.
Barcelona are set to sign Mikayil Faye. The 18-year-old central defender will join the club, according to Fabrizio Romano on Monday, and he will undergo a medical this week.

The young Senegalese defender has played a total of 14 games this season for Croatian side Kustosija, where he has featured at centre-back and, on occasions, at left-back. He is left-footed and arrived in European football from Diambars in Senegal.

Linked to European clubs
Faye had been linked to clubs including Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund due to his good performances for Senegal’s national underage team, but Barça have won the race and are about to complete the signing.
