Bayern Munich have beaten German minnows Rottach-Egern 27-0 in a pre-season friendly.

The last time the Bundesliga champions played Rottach-Egern was in 2019 when they also scored over twenty goals, winning 23-0.

On Tuesday, Jamal Musiala put the German side ahead after just three minutes. Bayern led 18-0 at the break and former Liverpool forward Sadio Mané netted the last goal of the hugely one-sided affair when he scored in the 89th minute.

Musiala, Mathys Tel and Marcel Sabitzer netted five times each as Thomas Tuchel’s men ran riot with 13 different players getting on the score sheet.

It wasn’t all good news, however, as Bayern forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was withdrawn with a knee issue following a collision in the penalty area in the second half.
