Keylor Navas is focused on helping Costa Rica defeat New Zealand in the World Cup playoffs on 14 June and not thinking too much about his future. The goalkeeper at Paris Saint-Germain has been vocal about the lack of playing time he had last season because he was sharing minutes with Giannluigi Donnarumma.

Navas is still under contract with PSG but he is open to offers from other clubs during the summer transfer window. It has also been reported that the Ligue 1 side wants to sell the Costa Rica international because Donnarumma will be the starting goalkeeper next season.

Benfica wants to sign Navas

Several reports in Portugal have confirmed that Benfica is keen on signing Keylor Navas during the summer. The Portuguese side are aiming to win the league title this upcoming season and they want to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League and Navas is the right man for the job.

Navas is said to accept that he would lower his salary if he joins Benfica and in exchange he would receive a signing-on bonus. The Costa Rica international will make a decision in the upcoming weeks because other clubs like Newcastle have also shown an interested in him.
