Manchester City’s goal machine Erling Haaland said he’s never seen a better first half than the one they played against Real Madrid in the UCL semifinals.
Manchester City’s superstar Erling Haaland said he can’t stop watching the first half of their Champions League semifinal when they creamed Real Madrid 4-0.
“The first half, when I saw it again, is one of the few games I’ve been watching again and I think it’s the best first half I’ve ever seen, ever in my life of a football team.”
It’s true that City’s attack was nearly impossible to defend as they created chances and each player showed a unique display of athleticism in the unforgettable performance.
“You don’t feel [invincible], but you have the confidence when, if we are struggling a bit, I look around myself and I see all the good players, all my teammates, and then you just get the confidence directly back.”
That game won them a ticket to Istanbul where they’ll play Inter Milan in the Champions League on June 10.
