Borussia Dortmund make January move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho
Sancho is currently out of favour under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Jadon Sancho on loan deal from Manchester United.
Sky Germany report that the Bundesliga club have made a move to re-sign the English winger, who is currently out of favour under head coach Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
Talks between the clubs are taking place but it now depends on United to accept a loan move for Sancho, who joined the Old Trafford outfit from Dortmund for €85 million in the summer of 2021.
Sancho keen on move
The 23-year-old England international has a contract at United until 30 June 2026 but a disagreement with Ten Hag has seen him left out of the squad in recent months as United continue to struggle in attack.
Dortmund want to sign Sancho on a six-month loan deal with the player reportedly keen on a move back to the German outfit, where he played from 2017 to 2021.
During his spell at Dortmund, he scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists in 137 games across all competitions for Die Schwarzgelben.
Dortmund are expected to pay a loan fee for their former player, and United would pay a part of his salary.
Edin Terzic’s side are currently fifth in the Bundesliga after 16 games.
