Possibility of meeting FC Cincinnati
Vázquez’s move to Rayados also opens the door for him to meet FC Cincinnati again, but both clubs need to advance from their first-round playoffs in the CONCACAF Champions Cup 2024. Should both Monterrey and Cincy advance to the round of 16, they would meet in a back-and-forth that would see the player return to TQL Stadium.
