Manchester United has appointed Erik ten Hag to be their new manager at the end of the season. He will replace current manager Ralf Rangnick.

The Dutchman, who has been at the Ajax helm since 2017, will take charge at the Red Devils at the end of the 2021-22 season. Ten Hag signed a three-year deal until June 2025, with the option to extend it another year.

“I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve,” he said.

The 52-year-old is on track to win his third Eredivisie crown.
