Bundesliga club interested in signing USMNT forward Brandon Vázquez
The former Atlanta United player has played 20 times for Cincinnati this season, netting six times. At the Gold Cup, he has scored three goals in four games for his country.
German club Borussia Mönchengladbach are considering a move for FC Cincinnati and USMNT forward Brandon Vázquez, according to Sky Germany.
Gladbach and Cincinnati are currently in talks over a move for the 24-year-old, who has represented the USA at underage and senior level and Mexico at U17 level.
The MLS outfit are holding out for a fee in the region of $9-11m for the player, which is an asking price that could see Gladbach pull out of negotiations as they reportedly consider it high.

The club’s sporting director, Roland Virkus, has also previously travelled to the US to watch the US international in action.

Gladbach are in the market for a forward having seen Marcus Thuram, Lars Stindl and Jonas Hofmann all leave the club after the 2022-23 campaign.
Vázquez’s current deal at Cincinnati runs until 2025.
