Cowell is expected to feature on the left of a three-man forward line, with Roberto Alvarado moving to the right. The young forward can pose a threat coming in off the left wing, using his pace and power to get past the opposition’s backline. He also has an eye for goal and will be a welcome addition to his new side in attack. The midfield three in the upcoming campaign will likely be made up of Fernando Beltrán, Érick Gutiérrez and Víctor Guzmán.
Option of playing alongside Hernández
Along with the transfer of Cowell, another signing that is causing excitement among Chivas fans is the return of Javier Hernández. Both players are joining from MLS sides and Hernández could be vital for both Cowell’s development and the club going forward.
