Canada confirmed starting lineup for game 2 of the group stage vs Croatia
Canada and Croatia are both looking to score their first goal and their first win in their Sunday Group F encounter at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Both Canada and Croatia have yet to score a goal and will aim to get their first win when they meet on Sunday at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha for their second-round match at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Canada put up a fight against Belgium in their tournament opener but eventually lost 1-0 to the team ranked second by FIFA. Now they will be facing another European heavyweight, Croatia, who comes from a scoreless draw against Morocco.

Canada has not had much success at the World Cup- they’ve lost all four of their matches without scoring one goal, which gives them the unenviable record of being the country that has played the most games in the tournament without tallying a single point.
Meanwhile, Croatia’s scoreless draw against Morocco put an end to their 11-game streak where they scored a goal in the World Cup.
First Canada-Croatia matchup
Sunday will be the first time that the two countries will go up against each other.
Canadian coach John Herdman set to field a very similar starting lineup as in their competition opener, given that they were able to give Belgium a proper scare. However, Cyle Larin will take the place of Junior Hoilett in the attack.
