Cyle Larin is having an immediate impact since arriving at Real Valladolid in the closing days of the winter transfer window from Belgium side Club Brugge. The Canadian international has scored two goals in his first two La Liga appearances and the team owned by Brazilian soccer legend turned entrepreneur Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima has won six points thanks to him.

The 27-year-old became the first player to score in each of his first two games for Real Valladolid in La Liga in the 21st century. Cyle Larin has scored more goals (2) than in his nine previous games for Brugge in the Jupiler Pro League this campaign and he has yet to start a game in La Liga.

Larin has made an impact

The Canadian international striker made his debut on 29 January against Valencia and was brought in with 14 minutes remaining. It took him no time to adapt and he found the back of the net to give Valladolid the much needed three points. This weekend he also came in late in the second half with the game tied 0-0 and in 31 minutes of playing time he was able to score the winning goal.

The six points won in the last two games have Real Valladolid up to 13th place in the standings after battling the relegation zone for most of this season. Cyle Larin arrived on loan for the remainder of the season to Valladolid and he is taking advantage of each minute he is given to make the move permanent.
