Carlos Vela considering move to LAFC’s MLS rivals LA Galaxy
The Mexican forward has an offer from the Galaxy and has been linked with moves elsewhere.
The 2024 MLS season is approaching and teams have already begun their respective preseasons. Carlos Vela has yet to decide on his future after not reaching an agreement to stay with LAFC, which has generated interest from elsewhere.
According to sources close to our correspondent in Los Angeles, Rodrigo Serrano, Vela’s future is still unresolved. These sources have also confirmed that one of the approaches that Vela’s entourage has had is from city rivals LA Galaxy, a team where general manager Will Kuntz, who was previously at LAFC, has a great relationship with the Mexican striker.
Interest in Vela
A few days ago, Vela removed LAFC from his social bios, which created even more questions about his future. Teams such as former club Real Sociedad have been rumoured to be interested in his services as have NYCFC of MLS, who could also sign him as a free agent.
What is certain and has been confirmed by sources, is that an offer is on the table from the Galaxy for Vela, who is analysing it together with his entourage.
