Champions League soccer schedule: matches today 10/04, times and how to watch on TV
Liverpool and Rangers will meet for the first time in UEFA club competition at Anfield on Tuesday.
Matchday 3 of the 2022-23 Champions League gets underway on Tuesday 4 October. There are eight fixtures taking place between groups A, B, C and D.
Group A
Liverpool and Rangers will meet for the first time in UEFA club competition at Anfield on Tuesday. Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a shaky start to the season and will be hoping to put things right against the Scottish outfit. Group leaders Napoli travel to Amsterdam to face Dutch giants Ajax.
Group B
Club Brugge lead the group and host Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid side, who have three points from a possible six. FC Porto take on a struggling Bayer Leverkusen in tonight’s other Group B clash.
Group C
In what could be described as the group of death, Inter host Barcelona at the San Siro for the fixture of the week in the group. Both sides have beaten Plzen and lost 2-0 to group leaders Bayern Munich. Bayern have not failed to score in their last 38 home matches in the Champions League group stage and they will massively disappoint if they fail to score against Czech side Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday.
Group D
Two wins, five goals scored and zero conceded sees Sporting CP lead the way ahead of Tottenham, Eintracht Frankfurt and Marseille in Group D. It doesn’t look good for the French side, who need to beat Sporting after two defeats in their first two games. Spurs take on Eintracht in Frankfurt. The Premier League outfit have a solid record in Germany (W5 D2 L8), but they lost on their last two visits: 3-1 against Bayern in 2019, and 3-0 against RB Leipzig in 2020.
