For many years, fans of Chivas del Guadalajara have dreamed of the return of Javier Hernández to the team, However, up to now this has not happened and the followers of the Rebaño Sagrado continue to think of their former striker with nostalgia. Now, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player has made it clear that if he returns to the country of his birth it will be to wear the colors of the rojiblancos.

In an interview for Fox Sports, the current star of Major League Soccer revealed that he would never play in América and would love to have a second spell with the 12-time Mexican soccer champion.

“I’m a LA Galaxy player and I want to be champion with this team and then I don’t know, we’ll see,” he began.

“I’m never one to close the doors to situations... but I’m not going to play for América. I am Chivas at heart and if it is possible for me to play for another club, and if I ever think about going to Mexico, the number one option would be Chivas at all costs,” he clarified.

The last tournament that Chicharito played with Chivas was in the 2010 Bicentennial tournament, when he shared the scoring title with the Peruvian Johan Fano and the American Hércules Gómez. Subsequently, the rojiblanco youth squad player made the leap to Europe to join Manchester United and later went on to play for Real Madrid, Bayern Leverkusen, West Ham and Sevilla.
