Chivas confirm two departures ahead of the Apertura 2023
Guadalajara continue to make adjustments to the squad with two players heading out on loan to Juárez before the new campaign starts.
Despite having reached the Clausura 2023 final, the Chivas Guadalajara continue to move their pieces ahead of the Apertura 2023 where they will once again fight for the league championship. The Apertura 2023 starts in just a few days, however, that has not prevented the rojiblancos from confirming the departures of two players ahead of the new tournament.
Through their official website, the Tapatío club announced that Sebastián Pérez Bouquet and Diego Campillo will not continue with the team as they are keen for both players to have more playing time in the top flight. The destination for the two ex-rojiblancos is Juárez, a club that is gradually building up a new-look squad to try and improve the team’s position in recent campaigns.
For their part, the border club has already officially announced the arrival of Pérez Bouquet and they are also expected to welcome Diego Campillo in the next few hours. Both players will join Bravos on loan without a purchase option, so they will return to their parent clubs when the loan deal ends.
Meanwhile, in the first team, the board of directors headed by Fernando Hierro has already finalized the signing of striker Ricardo Marín and goalkeeper Óscar Whalley. Both players have joined the squad for the pre-season. In recent weeks, Guadalajara have been rumoured to be interested in singing Alan Pulido and Luca Martínez Dupuy, but so far, nothing concrete has happened with either player.
