Christian Pulisic could play with Newcastle or Manchester United on loan
The United States men’s national team captain could arrive at Old Trafford on a season-long loan deal due to the lack of minutes he is anticipating with Chelsea.
Several teams are monitoring Christian Pulisic’s situation with Chelsea because the 23-year-old wants more playing time with the FIFA World Cup right around the corner. It has been reported that Newcastle United has shown real interest in the United States international and the Magpies could be an ideal fit for the player but no deal has been reached just yet.
Pulisic on both Manchester and Newcastle United radars
That is not the only offer the USMNT ace reportedly has on the table as Manchester United has reportedly entered the race to secure his services him before the end of the summer transfer window. The Red Devils have asked Chelsea about possibly signing Christian Pulisic on a season-long loan after the poor start of the season Erik ten Hag’s side are enduring.
Both Premier League sides would look to sign Christian Pulisic on loan with the option to buy out his contract at the end of the season. The 23-year-old has two years left in his contract at Stamford Bridge where he earns around $7.8 million per season. Last weekend, the United States international only played six minutes in Chelsea’s 2-2 tie over Tottenham and his goal is to arrive in peak form for the World Cup in November.
Pulisic started losing his place in the Chelsea side after suffering several serious injuries last season and he only started 13 Premier League games last campaign. Other teams rumoured to be interested in the former Dortmund man are Juventus and Atlético Madrid with the final two weeks of the transfer expected to resolve Pulisic’s immediate future
