Christian Pulisic has a price for Chelsea exit
After not letting him leave in the summer market, the Blues have now put a price on the American’s head for the January market after the World Cup in Qatar.
Christian Pulisic did not manage to leave Chelsea during the summer market, despite the fact that the US national team captain wanted to get out in search of more playing time ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year. Although numerous other changes to personnel took place, he was left with the Blues.
Where could Pulisic go next?
Despite his lack of minutes for the team now led by Graham Potter, there are several clubs still very interested in the winger, who has certainly shown what he has in the locker at times.
According to Italian sports outlet Calciomercato, Juventus is one of the teams interested in snapping up Pulisic, a situation for which they have asked his price. According to the reports, the Blues want at least $35 million to sell the former Borussia Dortmund player.
Pulisic move: Leeds and Newcastle watching
Despite the wishes of the Turin club to take Pulisic to Italy, there are two other teams that would be interested in having the new ‘Captain America’ from the country of the Stars and Stripes. One of them is Leeds United managed by Jesse Marsch, and the other is Newcastle.
The fact that Marsch is Pulisic’s compatriot could give him more minutes on the field, as he has done so far with Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams, indisputable starters in the plans of the former RB Leipzig coach.
The Magpies, on the other hand, have strengthened well in recent months and, although facing competition, the American could earn a place in the XI and get many more minutes than at Chelsea.
