Christian Pulisic on the verge of completing move to AC Milan: US captain set for medical
Milan have won the race to sign the 24-year-old USMNT forward from Premier League club Chelsea.
USMNT forward Christian Pulisic is set to complete a move to Italian giants AC Milan from Chelsea.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the player will undergo a medical on Wednesday before putting pen to paper on a deal with the Rossoneri until the summer of 2027.
French interest
Ligue 1 club Lyon were also interested in signing Pulisic, who was a target of John Textor’s Eagle Football group this summer.
Milan have, however, won the race to sign the 24-year-old, who will be aiming to hit the ground running in Serie A after a poor campaign in 2022-23.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea continue to build ahead of the new season and have signed talented forward players Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson as replacements for the attacking players leaving Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea stats
Last season, Pulisic only played 1,012 minutes in thirty appearances across all competitions for the West London club. In 145 games for Chelsea, he scored 26 goals and registered 21 assists.
